Today the seventh graders used wind power to find different angles on a protractor. They used different settings on the fan to get different angles. The materials needed were a fan, some string, some tape, a ping-pong ball, and a protractor. They taped the string to the protractor, then taped the other end of the string to the ping-pong ball. They moved the ping-pong ball closer and increased the settings on the fans to get their angles. Results differed because each group had a different type of wind power. There were old fans, new fans, and even a blow dryer. They all give off wind, just different amounts. Below is a glance at how they got their angles.
